  1. I'm going to share it with my mothers group because next week is mothers day and for many of us, it will be our first one!

  2. Would love to win this cake and share with my family (hubby and two sweet girls!), my sister and her hubby and kid, but especially my parents - my Mum cares for my grandad around the clock since he had a stroke last year...she deserves a break, and a slice of cake!!!

  3. I really love to this beautiful cake Winnie. If I win this cake, I will bring this to church and share it with all the mothers and grannies there. There are lots of retirees there whose children are not able to come and celebrate mother's day with them. This cake will certainly make their day. Please please please.

  4. My neighbours are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on 14th. They have been fantastic neighbours over the years and as masterchef fans would love a cake decorated by a masterchef personality. I have done several of Handi's courses and I know the cake will be fantastic. There will be plenty of people at the party to admire and devour this beautiful and no doubt delicious creation.

  7. What an inspirational site! I see creative people spending countless hours dedicating their time and energy to make something so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this. I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THIS MAGNIFICIENT CREATION for my mother. Its her birthday and I cannot ever remember her celebrating her birthday with a cake. So this cake would make up for all the other times she has missed out. It would be a fitting tribute

I have a beautiful son in Grade One.
In Term 1, they studied Weddings and Fairytales in honour of the then upcoming Royal Wedding.
I had promised the teacher I would make an (amateur) 'wedding cake' for the class to see and the teachers to enjoy at morning tea. Problem is she forgot to tell me when she wanted it and only gave me 1 days notice !! Hence it didn't happen.
Handi's work is amazing and I only wish I could have made it to his classes this week.
I would love to win the cake so its pure artistry could be shown to the children and then shared by the many teachers of this school of 700 kids !!
We put so much trust in the teachers to care for our children, that they sometimes are like a 2nd mother figure.

  11. I would share the cake with my Mum... and we wouldn't share!! We are again organising our own Mothers Day, last year I did High Tea, this year we're both doing breakfast. I have two sisters who are not mothers who never offer to help or organise something and to top it off my husband is working away this Mothers Day! So not really getting a "Mothers Day" but a gift we didn't have to buy or make ourselves would be sooo nice!
