Beautiful "Autumn" Weddings

Bonjour from Paris!

I am writing this post to you from the home of Patisserie!  Fresh baking bread, butter, cream and fresh raspberries like you wouldn't believe waft deliciously around every corner!  I think I am likely to gain weight simply by inhaling!

Anyways, as I'm away for a few weeks, I thought I had better update quickly on the cakes we put together for our first Autumn brides!  (though it did feel much more like summer than autumn).

Traditional fruit cake for Priscilla & Derek's Kings Park afternoon wedding.  Decorated with frest hyandreas to match the wedding bouquet.

This modern and gorgeous cake for Charmaine & Alister's wedding.  The cake fit in perfectly with the rustic and artistic mood of the wedding!  A double barrel and extended top tier....all in chocolate mud cake and dark chocolate ganache to feed 110!

Charmaine via emai; said : What can I say ... the cake was absolutely perfect! We were both a little bit stunned when we walked in, and both said ... it's exactly like the picture! Thanks so much for making it extra special, the style of the cake worked perfectly with the venue, and the rest of our decorations, flowers etc.
And it tasted fantastic!

A more traditional themed wedding cake for Caroline & Tommy in the Burswood Botanical rooms.

Thank you so much for everything, the cake looked so good and taste so nice as well. We're so glad we have left over cake :)

And of course this end result of the this charming and romantic cake for Kristy and Kris.
As you probably remember, this cake took the long journey down to Margaret River, and happily stayed in one piece!

Pics courtesy of |Kristy via email, who said: Thank you for the beautiful (delicious) cake ! It was such a hit and there was even enough for morning tea the next day - result !

A big thank you to my special brides (and grooms) who sent such lovely notes!  Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your very special day - it was a great honour!

Pictures from Paris and Europe soon...once I get my photos organised!

Au revoir mon cheri
